Superb to see the minerals on display, well done. The ‘behind the scenes’ Mineral Collection tour was just fantastic. Thank you.

Access by Coach

Coaches are welcome at Caerhays

Please come down to the beach and in through the 'Emergency Access' gates next to The Bottom Lodge. This is the only access which is large enough.

The drive down to the beach is VERY steep and windy but a coach will pass. PLEASE PLEASE drive slowly.

Plan your approach route carefully. The straightest and best route from the main A390 is marked in blue on the map. For those coach parties who are also visiting Heligan (only 4 miles away) or who are in smaller coaches the purple route on the map is another alternative route. Do not be tempted to take the apparent short cut shown in red on the purple route shown at St Goran.

There is limited coach parking in the grounds on a first come first served basis, but you are welcome to drive in, set down your passengers and park in the beach carpark during your stay.

Coach drivers are assured of a warm welcome at The Magnolia Tearooms
